Pak-China Business Forum was held at Expo Center Lahore under the auspicious of COMSATS University in which over 700 delegates from 400 Chinese and 300 Pakistani companies participated. Several meetings between representatives of Chinese logistics companies and NLC officials were held on the sidelines of the four days exhibition. NLC officials briefed the Chinese delegates on the operational capabilities of the organization with special focus on freight services, dry ports and border terminals set by NLC at key entry / exit points for facilitation of transit trade with neighbouring countries.

The meetings focused on emerging logistics challenges in the backdrop of CPEC project and the enormous opportunities it may accrue to the business communities of both the countries. It was agreed during the meetings that this game changer project requires a robust logistics mechanism and modern transport system for which devising a coordinated strategy was of vital importance. The representatives of NLC and their Chinese counterparts discussed various options and vowed to continue the consultative process in future as well.
