HR Branch provided Training to 43 Officials
Rawalpindi, 09 June, 2016: Capacity building of the employees and imparting them with contemporary marketable skills constitutes one of the most important planks of the development strategy of NLC. Like all dynamic institutions, NLC firmly believes that investment in the human resource asset works as force multiplier in overall growth of the organization. That is the reason that HR Branch devises comprehensive training programs in coordination with Pakistan’s leading management sciences institutes to provide relevant training to its staff & officers in various fields. The annual training calendar has two major components i.e. refresher courses and in-house training sessions and secondly specialized courses from top universities & education institutions of the country.
In the last quarter, as many as 36 employees were provided training in the fields of Human Resources, Finance & Accounts, Administration, Supply Chain Management, Oracle Modules and Contracts Management. The duration for each course was approximately 4 x days.
For specialized courses 07 officers were selected. The officers successfully completed the training at Pakistan Institute of Management, Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and National University of Science & Technology (NUST).
