Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiative Mr. Asad Umar performed ground breaking of the 10th Avenue project that starts at IJP Road and ends at Sirinagar Highway. The project has been awarded to NLC Engineers, known for quality construction of iconic infrastructure projects in Pakistan. Total duration of the project is 21 months and is planned to be completed by September 2023.
In Phase 1 of the mega project, NLC will construct 5 kilometers long road, 14 bridges and flyovers, 6 underpasses, 2 lane flexible pavements on each side, 1 lane shoulder on each side, 3 culverts and 2 overhead bridges for pedestrian.
NLC will simultaneously commence work on Sirinagar Highway Interchange, IJP Road Intersection, Railway line Flyover and the road portion of the project. Requisite plant, machinery and equipment along with highly skilled human resource has already been mobilized. NLC Engineers is committed to complete the project within stipulated time ensuring highest quality of work.
